The Mickey Blankenship Story

A Real Life Story of Safe, Quick Healing!

Be the Genius You Want to See in the World

If true genius is learning from other people's mistakes and successes, then this is your opportunity to become a genius! Going through life, we receive advice about making good decisions, but those lessons are driven home through our experiences. This is the real life story of Mickey Blankenship, a boy with ear issues!

The Problem With Mickey

My son, Mickey, was wracked with ear infections as a child. By the time he was in 5th grade, he failed his hearing test. He could still hear okay enough and did not require an aid, however, I was told by a doctor that his ear drums were particularly soft which made them susceptible to breaking.

A Common Sports Injury

By 8th grade, Mickey was a serious basketball player. During a game, he sustained an ear injury. The doctor told me there was large hole in his eardrum, he said this was a common sports injury, he recommended surgery and referred us to a surgeon who happened to be his partner at a 2nd location.

A Common Cure for A Common Injury

When we met with the surgeon, he informed us that he could repair the hole, along with repairing the hearing, but the main reason for the surgery, in the first place, was to repair the hole. The surgeon also mentioned that the hole could heal itself on it's own, but there would be increased risk of infection as long as the hole remained open and there was no guarantee how long it would take for the body to repair itself, if it ever did. I scheduled the surgery for August, our initial consultation was in May.

To Go Under or Not To Go Under?

My son did not want to do the surgery because he was afraid of being put under anesthesia. I do not blame him. I ended up canceling the surgery the first of August and thought we'd give it another 6 months to see if it would heal on it's own. I did not have to wait that long.

I found a claim that 1 in 250,000 people die from anesthesia. So while it is not common, it sure would suck to be that one rare fatality! But other complications can occur... About Anesthesiology: Read More

The Quantum Pulse

That same month of May, when we first spoke with the ear surgeon, I just so happened to have been introduced to a frequency therapy using a device known as the Quantum Pulse... Read More I began using it on a regular basis. I was also taking my children along to use the device. I did not keep track of how many times I brought Mickey, but I am confident that he went with me at least 8 times over the course of the summer.

Revelations

By August, Mickey needed to obtain a sports physical for school. I made an appointment with a new pediatrician. Of course, he asked all kinds of questions about Mickeys history. After taking a look at Mickey's ears, he told me that there was no hole in his ear. My first inclination, was that the Quantum Pulse helped his body heal himself quicker than he might have otherwise. I still believe this to be the truth of the whole matter.

Genius Lesson #1: Upon recommendation by an allopathic physician to either acquire surgery or some other dangerous modality, seek out a more natural form of healing first and see if that does the trick.

But There's More!

The new pediatrician wanted records from the ear doctors. Incredulously, they indicated to the new doctor, that they were doing the surgery for the purpose of repairing the hearing, not for repairing the hole. I insisted to the new pediatrician, that they presented the need for the surgery because of the hole and the hearing repair was secondary. My son confirmed this. He may be a minor, but even a 14 year old is aware enough to understand these things and my son is no dummy.

Give a Dog a Bone

Now, I will give the doctors a little break. Perhaps they have not seen such quick healing before and did not know what to make of the situation, but why would they want to cover it up? Is it that the surgery was never needed in the first place? The surgeon would have been paid $8,000 for the procedure and sure he's got expenses, but that's a lotta beans for one day!

I do not feel that I was somehow duped like a woman in an auto repair shop. Those doctors were merely doing their job of prescribing surgery. That's what they do. They don't look for alternatives to surgery. Had we gone through with it, the surgery would not have been a complete waste, he would've at least repaired the hearing loss. But is it really worth the risks, time and expense at this point? Mickey and I have decided that the answer is no.

Genius Lesson #2: Always, Always, Always get 2nd and 3rd opinions before deciding whether a scheduled surgery is necessary.

Saving the World From Unecessary Ear Drum Blow Out Surgeries!

Ultimately, I have determined that ear doctors everywhere should know about the Quantum Pulse when it comes to healing the common sports injury of ear drum blow out. I have no illusions that they will all begin to drop away from recommending surgery and begin looking into the healing powers fo the Quantum Pulse, based on our story alone, anytime soon, but if even one doctor listens...

This story is the first step, now to develop that plan of attack... Anyone want to help me spread the word to doctors everywhere? Do you have a story of healing through natural methods or using the Quantum Pulse?Contact me!
