Learning from the Holocaust...

The other day, I was listening to the song by John Lennon, "Imagine".  It prompted me to think about the Holocaust and I found myself imagining how the world might be different today had Hitler used his powers for good instead of evil.  Had the Nazis utilized their time of leadership to serve as proponents of love and compassion, instead of hate, destruction and murder, what good they could have accomplished!

The Holocaust (and all other war and hate crimes) serve as a reminder to future generations, the importance of resisting hatred of all kinds, especially in every day life.  When a society allows hatred of any group, it only makes it easier for leaders to use that hatred in such a way to justify destruction and devastation.

But, most importantly, the holocaust is an example of the power that large groups of people truly possess. If the masses embrace compassion toward all mankind, the results would resonate into a positive future for Earth.  Not only that, but it would be a wonderful way to show all the parents of the world how much their efforts are appreciated by preventing all sons and daughters from having to suffer the negative consequences of war!

Put forth the positive energy of love and embrace diversity every chance you get!!!
