Try GLUCOSAMINE, CHLONDROTIN & MSM. They're commonly combined in supplement form. GLUCOSAMINE is backed by 100's of clinical trials for it's ability to aid the body in rebuilding joint cartilage. CHONDROTIN & MSM are used for pain relief. MSM works by reducing inflammation around the joints.
To get an ADEQUATE DOSAGE, make sure to check the serving size on the label. Most people get results with at least 750 mgs of GLUCOSAMINE and 600 mgs of CHONDROTIN twice per day. MSM should be taken in doses that start at 500 mgs to 1000 mgs once per day.
WARNING! Since GLUCOSAMINE and CHONDROTIN are derived from shellfish, people who are allergic to shellfish may have a negative reaction... But there ARE more alternatives!
The anti-inflammatory, AYURVEDIC HERB BOSWELLIA should be taken in a standardized extract of at least 60% boswellic acids. Also EDA, an omega-3 fatty acid derived from fish oil and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA derived from borage oil (also black current seeds) both have anti-inflammatory effects. And BROMELAIN, an enzyme derived from fresh pineapples. When looking for a BROMELAIN supplement, make sure it has at least 1200 GDU's per 1000 mgs. By Shalon Utah C.H., C.N.C.
