Many of the homes in this well kept neighborhood are occupied by retirees. However, Lake Biltmore is open to peoples of all ages.  Located on one of the few residential lakes in Phoenix proper, this village community is a true gem in the bustling city of Phoenix.  The relatively generous floorplans of the homes built in the 70’s boast soaring vaulted ceilings, surprise courtyards and outdoor access from all around.  Some have gorgeous lake views and feel like Mediterranean villas.  While many of the units are cookie-cutter, like their front gardens, they each have their own individual architectural personalities.  Not only is Lake Biltmore Estates just a lovely place located on a lake, but it is virtually the epicenter of the Phoenix megapolitan area.

As much as we love our generous yards, the higher density lay-out of the Lake Biltmore Estates community is a very “green” idea.  If you are familiar with the concept behind the Arcosanti project , near Cordes Junction, just off the I-17, you may be aware that places like New York City,  are actually more kind to the environment.  People in these high density areas have a tendency to utilize less water in their small yards and city services such as waste management can collect more trash in less time with less pollution. The residents of Lake Biltmore Estates are living green! Not only is this community “green”, but, up front, these quaint homes are affordable and less time consuming and pricey to maintain.
